Join us as Appleton’s Octoberfest begins with the traditional Spaten beer toast at the Houdini Plaza stage at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 27. The ceremonial toast is a tribute to the annual ritual Spaten keg beer tapping at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.
Music starts as early as 9 a.m., along with Arts and Crafts and the Family Fun Area. And, don’t forget about all the great food booths; local not-for-profits put in a lot of time and hard work to raise money for their organizations during this one-day event.

Live Music
We have something for everyone! Five music stages feature local and regional acts and fill the day with all types of music from rock to hip hop and everything in between.
Food Vendors
You’ll find non-profit food vendors throughout College Avenue with tasty treats ranging from brats and burgers to ethnic foods and the always popular, funnel cakes.
Beer List
Raise a stein and enjoy a wide selection of beer, including craft beers, oktoberfest specialty brews, and gluten-free cider, available at stands throughout the avenue.
Family Fun Area
Family Fun programming begins at 9 a.m. and features kid-friendly activities such as karate demonstrations, juggling, balloon artists, face painting and more.
